HYPERBEL

Natural geometric design and refined craftsmanship come together in this unique coffee table, designed by Christian Winther Johannsen as a gift for his wife in 2015.

The goal was to create a so-called “hyperboloid” in oak, and the result was a sculptural coffee table that combines the laws of mathematics, natural materials, and aesthetics.

A total of 48 strips of carefully selected FSC-certified oak are used to create a HYPERBEL table.

The tabletop is also made of solid oak, and the slim edge profile adds to the lightness of the table.

The base has received a matte finish after oiling.
