When developing a new product we are very aware of the framework of which we work within. Our focus is on assuring the best quality in the details while producing as smart and efficient as possible. Efficiency means less waste and smart production means customizable high quality carpentry delivered faster than a traditional carpentry.
We want you to participate in the designprocess and be a co-creator of your own piece of furniture. High-End 3D-configuration and a big range of color- and material options enables exactly that. The first connection between human and object begins in the process of creating your own unique product. Time invested, creativity sparkled and excitement build…that is where the seed of a longterm relationship between people and products is planted.
Our production methods is based on contrasts – man vs. machine, traditional craftsmanship vs. modern CNC computer milling, etc.
To us, the story of a piece of furniture includes the person or persons who made it. It is important to know that our skilled carpenters puts in a lot of love and hard work into every product.
Our carpentry holds many different machines, each specialized to do certain jobs to perfection. When a product requires other specialized machines, we always aim use local Danish sub suppliers.
TREATMENT & PACKAGING
Last stop before delivery of the final product is here – where we treat the specific piece of furniture with the desired care product. By using mainly eco friendly care products like Bio-oil and natural soap we want to make the smallest environmental footprint as we possibly can.
When packaging our furniture we use the exact same frame of mind. Protective wrapping and cardboard is only used when the product is ready for it’s final journey to you. We do not keep a warehouse full of pre-made products packaged unnecessarily.
Products in general have a huge impact on our planet – an impact mainly fueled by overconsumption. We encourage conscious consumption indirectly through technology and a lean production.
In most parts of the world there are regulations on wood an other materials we use for furniture manufacturing. It is nearly impossible to require wood that aren’t FSC certified, and that is a very positive development. We wish to take sustainability to the next level and make furniture that lasts both physically and emotionally – We call it sustainability 2.0.
